This was a side dish I thought about when looking for a use for the last 2 remaining pears I had in the fridge. It goes together quite nicely too.
handful of walnuts
4 leaves of romaine lettuce
Black pepper to taste
- Wash and chop up the lettuce into large pieces and place on the plate.
- Follow with the avocado sliced
- Then the pear sliced (with the pips removed)
- Then crumble the walnuts on top.
- A little black pepper to finish it off.
